FRANK THOMPSON DIES IN OKLAHOMA

Mr. and Mrs. Karl Stabe, of Leeds, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reinholdt, of Marcus, returned the first of the week from Newkirk, Okla., where they attended the funeral of Frank Thompson last Friday.

Frank C. Thompson, 82, a long time resident of this vicinity, died at his home at Newkirk Wednesday morning, Feb. 3, after a long illness. He was born at Dubuque, Iowa, and as a youth came to this vicinity. In 1909 he located on a farm near Newkirk, retiring from the farm in 1933. He was a member of the Free Methodist church at Newkirk.

Survivors include the wife; three daughters, four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Joe Thompson of Hinton; and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Richards of Hinton.

The Thompson family, of which he was a member, are long time residents in this vicinity, the old home of the family being located in Lincoln Township, eight miles east of Hinton.
