STEWART W. WILLIAMSON
Memorial prayer services for Stewart Wallace Williamson, 58, Hinton, will be Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Hinton Methodist church. Rev. Dale Stone will officiate.
Mr. Williamson died March 1, 1982, at Pasadena, Calif., following a heart attack.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Hopkinton, Iowa. Burial will be there.
He was born July 22, 1923, at Hopkinton to George Williamson and Anna Pearl Dunlap Williamson. His parents are deceased. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Gordon Russell Williamson.
He lived on farms near Hopkinton, Delhi, Buck Creek and Lamont, and graduated from Lamont High School and Bishop Business College, Waterloo. He served in the Navy from 1943-1946.
He came to Hinton in 1946 where he worked for the Illinois Central railroad until his retirement in 1971, at which time he lived in Hinton.
Survivors are his brother, Robert Francis Williamson, Pasadena, who he was visiting at the time of his death, and nephews, Dennis Williamson, Williamsburg, Iowa, Gary Williamson San Marcos, Calif., and Bruce Williamson, Encinitas, Calif.
