DATE OF DEATH: …passed away Monday, August 5, 1935
PLACE OF DEATH: …in the home of his son, E. E. Schneider, of Merrill
CAUSE OF DEATH: …two weeks ago his ailment became more serious
DATE OF BIRTH: October 14, 1857
PLACE OF BIRTH: …was the second white child born in Sioux City, Iowa
PARENTS: …son of the late Philip Schneider
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 1st MARRIAGE: Miss Minnie Dobbert, March 13, 1883
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE: ---
OCCUPATION: The couple located on the farm after their marriage which is still their home. They retired from active farming in 1911 and lived in Merrill for about 8 years. Then they moved to California where they lived for 15 years. Three years ago he was taken sick, so they returned to Plymouth County. Since that time, they have been living in LeMars and at the homes of their sons.
MEMBER OF: Melbourne Evangelical church and also of the Floyd Valley Odd Fellows Lodge
SURVIVORS: …his wife; two sons, Edwin and Lloyd; two grandson; and one granddaughter; four brothers, Charlie and Henry of Los Angeles, Calif., Will of Oregon, Chris of Merrill, and one sister, Mrs. Iona Cannon of Sioux City.
