FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR LOWELL SCHNEIDER
Lowell Schneider, 47, of Hinton, passed away in a hospital Saturday, Feb. 13, following a brief illness.
Mr. Schneider was born June 3, 1906, on a farm in the Melbourne community, the son of Edwin and Henrietta Schnedier, and was a lifelong resident of this vicinity. For a number of years, he operated the Victory Café at Hinton.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen Kay Schneider, and his mother, Mrs. Henrietta Schneider.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock in Luken’s Funeral Home at LeMars, with Rev. Charles Henry officiating. Burial was made in the family plot in Melbourne cemetery.
Pallbearers were Milton Spies, Fred Spies, Henry Roehrich, Clinton Richards, Forest Garlow, and Oscar Schindel.
