FUNERAL SERVICES FOR VLADIMIR STASTNY

Funeral services for Vladimir Stastny, 28, of Liberty township, who died Wednesday, April 21, was held Monday, April 26, at 10 a.m. at the Nelson-Berger Funeral Home in Sioux City, with Rev. Homer Watkins officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Graveside ceremonies were in charge of the Eagles lodge.

Pallbearers were Wayne Husted, Robert Tiesler, and Robert, Donald, Marvin and Richard Kovarna.

Vladimir Stastny was born in Sioux City May 12, 1925, and was a lifelong resident of Liberty township. He was a graduate of Liberty Consolidated High School, and had many friends who mourn his passing.

Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stastny of Liberty township, R.F.D. No. 2, Merrill, Iowa; and one brother, George Stastny of Alexander, Va.
