FUNERAL SERVICES
LAST FRIDAY

Funeral services for Miss Sophie Sparr, 59, of Moville, who died Nov. 2, on the way to a Sioux City hospital, were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church at Moville. Rev. R.W. Schilling officiated. Burial was in the cemetery at Trinity Lutheran Church near Hinton, Ia.

Miss Sparr had been ill a short time and suffered a heart attack while on the way to the hospital. She was born May 19, 1895, northwest of Kingsley. She resided in that community until 22 years ago when she went to Moville to reside with her brother, William, and to care for two small nephews whose father and mother died. The two children are Donald and Walter Jahn.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church at Moville and the Dorcas Society.

Survivors in addition to her brother are another brother, Julius, of Lawton, and two sisters, Mrs. Lester Sager of Sioux City and Mrs. J.A. Held, of Hinton, Ia.

way to a Sioux City hospital
were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday
at Trinity Lutheran church
at Moville.

Burial was in the cemetery at
Trinity Lutheran church near
Hinton, under the direction of the
McCulloch funeral home.
