ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- Marjorie Kleinwolterink, 81, of Orange City died Sunday, March 6, 2005, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at First Reformed Church in Orange City, with the Rev. Steven Vander Molen officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery in Orange City. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today, with the family present 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Oolman Funeral Home in Orange City.

Marjorie Mae was born Feb. 3, 1924, in rural Remsen, Iowa, the daughter of George and Delia (De Velder) Foreman. She graduated from Newkirk High School and attended Sheldon Junior College and Westmar College in Le Mars, Iowa. For seven years, she was a teacher in rural Sioux County schools.

On Aug. 6, 1948, she married Alvin Bernard Kleinwolterink at her parents' farm home in Orange City. They farmed near Orange City until 1986, when they retired into Orange City. Al passed away on July 24, 1994, in Orange City, after 46 years of marriage.

She was a member of First Reformed Church, where she faithfully attended the Priscilla Circle. She enjoyed her many friends at the Coffee Break Bible Study. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her two daughters and their husbands, Nyla and Harvey Andruss of Bloomington, Minn., and Laurie and Steve Roesner of Orange City; four grandchildren, Lauren and Blake Andruss and Matthew and Claire Roesner; two brothers and their wives, J. Lester and Avis Foreman of Memphis, Tenn., and Donald and Greta Foreman of Davenport, Iowa; a sister, Dorothy Bloemendaal of Leesburg, Fla.; and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
