Robert Francis Kelley, 88, of Sioux City died Monday, Feb. 17, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellendale, Iowa, with the Rev. Michael T. Larkin officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sioux City. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Larkin Northside Funeral Home.

Mr. Kelley was born in Sioux City on Oct. 6, 1914, the son of Charles and Margaret (Dunn) Kelley. He was a lifelong resident of the Sioux City area.

He married Ruby Christianson on Sept. 28, 1958, in South Sioux City. She died June 7, 1984, in Sioux City. He farmed in Plymouth County, Iowa, from 1940 until he retired in 1980.

He was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellendale and worked as a volunteer with the Woodbury County Action Agency.

He is survived by a son and his wife, Timothy R. and Mary Kelley of Caldwell, Idaho; a stepdaughter and her husband, Sandra and Robert Wonderschied of Sioux City; three grandchildren, Adrianne Kelley of Minneapolis, Anna Kelley of Caldwell, and Camile Teusink of Marble Falls, Texas; a brother, Louis Kelley of Cherokee, Iowa; and a sister, Leone Parsons of Sioux City.

He also was preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers and sisters.

Pallbearers will be Marc Anfinson, Marty Anfinson, William Wilsbacher, Bill Goebel, Kim Wenzel and Karla Marx.
