OCCUPATION: She attended rural school near Merrill and graduated from LeMars High School. She then moved to Michigan and worked as a secretary for Michigan Fruit Canners. Her husband died in February 1944. The coupled lived in Benton Harbor, Michigan, until moving to Wayne, Nebraska, in 1944.
MEMBER OF: First United Methodist church in Wayne, Nebraska.
SURVIVORS: …include three daughters and their husbands, Barbara and Joe Wenther of Sioux City, Kathy and Francis Clarkson of Scottsbluff, Neb., and Debra and Bill Lambrecht of Fremont, Neb.; eight grandsons; a brother and his wife, Orval and Dorothy of Wayne; and nieces and nephews.
