NAME OF DECEASED & AGE: Dennis Gerard Vondrak, 25, of Sioux City, IA
DATE OF DEATH: Friday evening, Oct. 2, 1981
PLACE OF DEATH: …was killed when the car he was driving and a semi trailer truck collided head-on east of Moville on US Highway 20
CAUSE OF DEATH: The truck was driven by Andrew Kurnath, 23, of Great Meadows, N.J. No one else was injured in the 6:15 p.m. accident. An Iowa highway patrol spokesman said the collision occurred at the top of a hill. The truck traveled 250 feet west of the point of impact and overturned. He said, the car came to rest in the north ditch near the top of the hill.

SURVIVORS: …are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Vondrak of Kingsley; four brothers, Jerome, Doyle, Brian and Marcel, all of Kingsley; three sisters, Mrs. Steve (Madonna) McKibbon, Jacqueline and Denise, all of Kingsley and two grandmothers, Mrs. Gertrude Vondrak of Sioux City and Mrs. Opal Rhodes of Kingsley.
