OCCUPATION: The couple lived in Sioux City until 1954 wshen they moved to Akron where he worked for the Farmer’s Cooperative Elevator until 1973. They moved to Battle Lake, Minn., in 1973 and returned to Akron in 1991. Mr. Von Hagel served in the U.S. Army for many years.
MEMBER OF: Trinity Lutheran Church
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; three sons and their wives, Wayne A. “Herk” and Pam of Akron, Donald E. “Don” and Pat of Enid, Okla., and Charles and Diane of Akron; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two brothers and their wives, Paul and Darlene and Eldon and Lois, all of Sioux City.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …his parents; a daughter, Susan Terrell; and a brother, Donald.
PLACE OF BURIAL: The body will be cremated.
