OCCUPATION: From 1940 to 1950, he was employed as a sales representative, selling Case Farm Equipment for Farm and City Supply in Sioux City. He farmed in Plymouth County from 1950 to 1956 and then owned and operated the Sinclair Station on Gordon Drive until 1962. He was then employed with Graham Brake Co. until 1972, when he established and operated Saunders Brake Service until retiring in 1982.
MEMBER OF: Third Presbyterian Church
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; a son and his wife, John and Julie of Dakota Dunes; two daughters and their husbands, Sally and Lorman Vilhauer of Sioux City and Carole and Bob Roche of Lincoln; two brothers and their wives, Lyall and Mildred of Sioux City and Stanley and Evelyn of Hinton; a sister, Jennie Crahan of Sioux City; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …five brothers, Dwight, Lowell, Dale, William and Wayne; and a sister, Leila Sitzmann.
