HENRY M. EILKS

Henry M. Eilks, 71, LeMars, Iowa, died May 13, at his home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. May 15, at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ. The Rev. Ralph Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Mauer Funeral Home.

Mr. Eilks was born March 28, 1902, on a farm near LeMars. He married Edythe Rowe Feb. 14, 1922, in LeMars. They farmed until moving to town, where he was a real estate developer. He developed Eilks Addition to the City of LeMars. He retired in 1965.

He was a member of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ, Giblem Masonic Lodge 322, and Chapter 70, Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Willis H. Harms of Sioux City; two grandchildren; and a brother, Herman, of Cherokee.
