Wednesday evening, Nov 13th occurred the sudden passing of Nelson Miller, an old time resident of Fredonia township, Plymouth county, at the advanced age of eighty-one years. For forty years Mr. Miller had been an inmate of the hospital at Cherokee, ill with brain trouble caused by sun stroke while working in the harvest field, when comparatively a young man. The remains were brought to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hans Anderson, where the funeral services were conducted Saturday morning Nov. 15th at ten o’clock. He was laid to rest in the Le Mars cemetery by the side of his wife of his youth, who preceded him to the land beyond about four years ago. Besides an aged sister, he leaves four daughters and one son: Mrs. Nelson Hendrickson of Kildare, Oklahoma, Mrs. Hans Anderson of Carnes, Mrs. H.F. Bergner of Remsen, Miss Anna Miller of Cedar Falls, and Nelson Miller, a prominent lawyer and citizen of Le Mars.
