SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Norma J. Lubben, 84 of Sioux Falls, S.D., died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008, at Avera Prince of Peace Nursing Home.

She was born Aug. 30, 1924, in Remsen. She was united in marriage to Harm Lubben on May 10, 1952 in Le Mars.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church, the Dakota Bandits and Shirts and Skirts Square Dance Clubs. She had worked at Central Plains Clinic for 25 years as a medical secretary.

Grateful for having shared her life are: her husband Harm, Sioux Falls; three daughters, Mary (Robert) Grueskin of Coal Valley, Ill., Amanda Smith of Sioux Falls, and Penny Gabel (Darrell) of Sioux Falls; one son, Joel Lubben of Richmond, Va.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Joan Roepke, Le Mars.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. There will be no visitation.
