DEATH OF J.C. McNAMARA

James C. McNamara died very suddenly at his home on 5th St. on Tuesday night, after a brief illness of acute pneumonia. Mr. McNamara was suffering from a cold which developed into pneumonia. The news of his death was a shock to his friends as few, if any, of them were aware he was ill. His wife is prostrated by the shock of the sudden bereavement.

The funeral will be held this morning at 10 o’clock at St. James. Rev. Father O’Farrell officiating.

James C. McNamara was born at Neward, Ohio, forty nine years ago. He was married to Miss Annie Gainor in Le Mars about eighteen years ago and this has been his home for more than 20 years. He leaves four children, three boys and a girl. He also leaves 3 brothers and 2 sisters. They are John H. and D. J. McNamara, of Des Moines; Patrick L. McNamara of Ida Grove; Mrs. J. O. Mullaney, of Fargo, N.D. and Mrs. Frank Butler, of Storm Lake. The brothers and sisters came to attend the funeral and J. O. Mullaney and Frank Butler accompanied their wives.

Mr. McNamara was a kind husband and father and a good citizen and his untimely death is regretted by a large circle of friends among whom he has lived for the past two decades.
