Karen K. (Alter) Thompson, 63, of Remsen, died Sunday, Oct. 19, 2008 at the Happy Siesta Care Center in Remsen.

A Memorial Service will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Gretna United Methodist Church in Gretna, Neb. The Rev. Mark Holland will officiate. Burial will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Coleridge, Neb. There will be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service.
