Helen M. Harvey, 93, of Le Mars, died Tuesday, June 6, 1995, at Plymouth Manor Nursing Home in Le Mars.

Helen Margaret Harvey was born Feb. 2, 1902, in Fulton, Ill., the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Dugan) Harvey. She attended elementary school in Fulton and graduated from high school in Downers Grove, Ill. She was employed with Burlington Railroad for 46 years. Prior to moving to Le Mars in 1969, she had lived in Ottumwa.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars.

Survivors include a niece and her husband, Mary and William “Bill” Sturges of Le Mars; three grandnephews and four grandnieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, and one sister, Marion Moore, formerly of Le Mars.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars with the Rev. Dale George officiating. Inurnment will be in Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
