LINCOLN, Neb. – Rob C. Moore, 49, of Lincoln, and formerly of Le Mars, died Tuesday, May 17, 1994, at his home in Lincoln.

Mr. Moore was born Oct. 18, 1944, in Le Mars, the son of John M. and Marion (Harvey) Moore. He lived in Le Mars until 1958 when he moved with his family to Omaha, Neb., He graduated from Omaha Central High School and the University of Nebraska. He served as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam.

Mr. Moore was an industrial engineer. He was an active member of the Nebraska Air Guard as a helicopter pilot.

Survivors are a son, Mathew of Lincoln; one sister, Mrs. William S. (Mary) Sturges of Le Mars; an aunt, Helen M. Harvey of Le Mars; and an uncle, D.G. Moore of Oceanside, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday with burial in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Lynn Potter of the First United Methodist Church in Le Mars will officiate. There will be no visitation. Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars is in charge of arrangement.
