Frieda A. Peterson, Sioux City, died Thursday (July 13, 1978) in St. Luke’s Hospital Sioux City. She died unexpectedly after a several-week illness.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 15, at 1:30 p.m. in Luedtke Funeral home, Le Mars. Rev. Everett H. Staats will officiate and burial in Memorial cemetery in Le Mars will follow.

A prayer service will be in the funeral home Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Peterson was born to Frank and Hattie Larson in Le Mars. She married John Peterson Aug. 31, 1934, in Le Mars and made her home in Sioux City since 1941.

She is survived by her husband and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Clara Eibel, Rose Prietts and Augusta Edwards; and one brother Henry Guenthner.
