HARRY JONES

Harry Jones passed away at Sacred Heart hospital in LeMars on July 7, following a month’s sickness. He had resided at the Union Hotel and was a retired grocer.

Mr. Jones was born November 11, 1873, at Schullsburg, Wisconsin, and had lived in LeMars for 44 years. He was married to Estella Forsythe on August 12, 1902, at Britt, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held July 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mauer funeral chapel with Rev. R.V. Gildner officiating. Burial will be in the city cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors include one son, Robert of LeMars; two granddaughters, a brother, R.F. Jones of LeMars; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Penhallengon, of Los Angeles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a sister.
