SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 1st MARRIAGE: Betty Lou Miller, June 22, 1953, in Oakland, California.

OCCUPATION: He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Following military service he lived in Oakland, Calif. The couple moved to Breckenridge, Minn., in 1955, where he was an over the road truck driver with his brothers. The moved to Milnor, N.D., in 1972, where they lived until he retired in 1982. They moved to Akron, Iowa, in 1982.
SURVIVORS: … include his wife; two sons, Rick and his wife, Lois of Wahpeton, N.D. and Randy of Fargo, N.D.; a daughter, Karen M. Pearson of Fargo; three brothers, Marvin and his wife, Betty, of Motley, Minn., Rex and his wife Doris of Michigan, and Clayton of Rock Falls, Illinois; a sister, Laurie Barsdate of Fergus Falls, Minn.; four granddaughters; three great grandchildren; special friends, Sarah and Kevin Kliehauer and Sydney Pridie of Akron.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …a son, Robert; three brothers, Hugo, Omar and Cal Pearson; and a sister, Nellie Rose Pearson.
PLACE OF BURIAL: Burial of the cremains will be at a later date.
