GERALD LEE PRATT

KINGSLEY, Iowa—Gerald Lee Pratt, 49, of Kingsley, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 1996, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kingsley United Methodist Church in Kingsley. Officiating will be the Rev. John Crosswhite, with burial in the Kingsley Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday at the Earnest-Dickinson-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Nash American Legion Post 140 of Kingsley.

Mr. Pratt, son of Merlin and Bernice (Lancaster) Pratt, was born Dec. 22, 1946, in Sioux City. He graduated from Remsen Union High School in 1965. He entered the Army in September 1966 and was discharged in June 1971. He married Linda Johnson on Feb. 1, 1969, in Kingsley. They lived on a farm near Kingsley until April 1996 when they moved into Kingsley. He was a member of the American Legion of Kingsley and the Farm Bureau of LeMars.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gary Lee Pratt of Minneapolis, and Travis Lee Pratt of Kingsley; two daughters, Stacy Leigh Pratt of Kingsley and Jennifer Lynn Pratt of Sioux City; and one uncle, Lester Pratt, of Lawton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
