William Austin Crow, 41, died at his home at Phoenix, Ariz., Tuesday following a sickness of several months.
The body will be flown to Sioux City, and services and interment will be at the Plymouth Presbyterian church. Day and hour of the rites are still pending. Mauer’s will be in charge of services here.
Mr. Crow had sold his property in Portland township at a farm sale in February, and moved his family to Arizona, March 15, for his health. A daughter, Betty, had remained to finish high school at Akron.
Born June 4, 1903, in Plymouth County, he had lived in Plymouth and Sioux counties all his life. He was married to Lillian Jeffers in 1923.
Surviving are his wife; five sons and three daughters: Mrs. Elmer (DeLois) Meske of Akron, Willis of Inwood, and Frank, Jack, Jim, Jerry, Betty and Myrtle at home.
Other survivors include five brothers and three sisters: Mont and Roger Crow of Moundsville, W.Va., Frank of Glendale, Calif., Wesley of Akron, Mrs. Herbert Liston and Mrs. Everett Whitney of Sioux City, and Mrs. Abe Miller of LeMars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister.
