OCCUPATION: He worked as a truck driver for most of his life. The couple lived in Merrill and LeMars area for many years. Mr. Penning was involved in the construction business doing agricultural buildings and as a homebuilder from 1979 to 1985. For the past nine years he was employed by Schuster Company in LeMars.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; three daughters; three sons; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …his parents; three daughters, Jeanette Penning as a young child; Jacquelyn and Carla in infancy; and two brothers, his twin Lowell in infancy and Dennis Penning.
