OCCUPATION: He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. The couple made their home in the LeMars area, where they operated the Ireton Café. He then farmed in various locations and drove a truck for Darrell Molzen Trucking. He was later employed with Borchers Grain and Feed in Brunsville, Iowa, for several years and farmed in Grant Township.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; a daughter, Brenda Becker, of LeMars; three sons and their wives, Michael and Joni of Orange City, Iowa, Russell and Susan and Scott and Michelle, all of LeMars; six grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …his parents; and a brother, Marlin.
