PARENTS: Dirk and Grace (Nab) Otten
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 1st MARRIAGE: Lorraine Hanson from 1940 to 1971.
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: He farmed in Pisgah, Hornick and Westfield, Iowa, areas. He retired in 1971 and moved to Inwood, Iowa. He then lived in Alcester until entering the care facility at Akron.
SURVIVORS: …two daughters, Joyce Vanderlinden and Grace Parish, both of Sioux City; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Otten of Spink, S.D., and Cora and her husband, Virgil Peterson, of Hawarden, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …four brothers, Dave, John, Dick, and Gilbert; and three sisters, Wilma, Henrietta and Bertha.
PLACE OF BURIAL: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Alcester, S.D.
