PARENTS: Frank and Clara (Simons) Mackey
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 1st MARRIAGE: Frances L. Scott, March 31, 1946, Akron, Iowa
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945, and was stationed in France. He farmed in the Akron and Westfield, Iowa area for many years and also did construction work. They moved to Sioux City, where he was employed as a truck driver for 25 years. Following his retirement, the couple moved to Arizona and later returned to Iowa and made their home in LeMars.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; four sons and their wives, James and Randi of LeMars, Ron and Sandy of Gilbert, Ariz., Doug and Cora of Akron and Steve and Terri of Sioux City; three daughters, Julie Mortenson and her special friend, David Moreland of Sioux City, Kathy Nichols of LeMars and Cindy and her husband, Jerry Osterholt, of Moorhead, Iowa; three sisters, Fern and her husband, Bob Charboneau, of Elk Point, Margaret Fletcher of Des Plaines, Ill., and Ruth Ann Assmusen of Villa Park, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …his parents; a brother, Harold; a sister, Elaine Hunt; and a great grandson.
PLACE OF BURIAL: Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Iowa
