OCCUPATION: He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. The couple farmed near Marcus for several years. He then was employed with Plymouth County Secondary Road Department in Kingsley, Iowa, and Remsen. He retired in 1990.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; two sons and their wives, Earl and Pam of Homer, Neb., and Gary and Vicki of Centerton, Ark.; a daughter, Rose Ann Magnussen of Sheldon, Iowa; a sister and her husband, Donna and Max Waller of Cherokee, Iowa; and six grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: ..his parents; and a son-in-law, Mike Magnussen.
