PARENTS: Peter and Anna (Goetzinger) Mersch
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 1st MARRIAGE: Evelyn Mouw, Feb. 1, 1936, Sheldon, Iowa
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:Marcella “Sally” Abbot, March 7, 1954, in South Sioux City. She died June 19, 1964, Sioux City.
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 3rd MARRIAGE: Jacqueline Miles May, May 14, 1965, in Dakota City. She died Dec. 31, 1994.

OCCUPATION: A lifelong Sioux City resident, he worked for Blue Ribbon Buttermilk Co., for several years. He then worked for Sioux City Cold Storage for many years, retiring in 1985.
SURVIVORS: …include three sons, Roger and his wife, Betty of Elk Point, S.D., Dennis of Sioux Center, Iowa, and Paul and his wife, Judy of Sioux City; a stepson, Charles Miles Jr. and his wife Nancy of Sioux City; two stepdaughters, Susan Sheehan and her husband John of Sioux City and Julie Howard and her husband Ron of Sioux City; a sister, Mary M. Stephenson of Sioux City; a special friend, Gary Grieve of Sioux City; 12 grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one step great grandchild.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …a daughter, Norma Jean Williams; six brothers and a sister.
