OCCUPATION: After high school, he joined the 133rd National Guard in LeMars in 1953, and then transferred to regular Army duty, serving one and a half years in Dormstadt, Germany. He was discharged in 1958. The couple farmed in rural Plymouth County. Mrs. Mulvany died Dec. 23, 1963. He then moved to LeMars and worked for IBP in Dakota City, Neb. He suffered a stroke, forcing his retirement.
SURVIVORS: …include his mother of Marcus; an aunt, Lois Birch; two uncles, Bill McDaniel and Dave Kerr; and several cousins.
