SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: The couple farmed near Remsen until 1944, when they moved to the farm that they later purchased in 1953. They retired on the farm in August 1978 and moved into Remsen in August 1979. He died Feb. 29, 1996. She entered Happy Siesta in March 1999.
SURVIVORS: …include two sons and their wives, Vernon and Sandra of West Lafayette, Ind., and Richard and Roselyn of Aurora, Colo.; three daughters and their husbands, Florence and John Rosenburg of Piedmont, Calif., Arlene and John Cassidy of Golden Valley, Minn, and Mary Alice and Marvin Penning of Nebraska City, Neb.; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Sister Margaret Clare (Armella) O.S.F. of Dubuque, Iowa; and a brother, Conrad Dreckman of LeMars.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: .. a grandson; four brothers, Joseph, Leo, Harry and Vincent Dreckman; and four sisters, Sister Leota (Rose) O.S.F., Sister Theona (Christina) O.S.F., Sister Angelora (Angeline) O.S.F., and Philomena.
PLACE OF BURIAL: St. Mary’s Cemetery, Remsen, Iowa
