Robert C. "Bob" Kuehn, 67, of Sioux City died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, at his residence.
There will be no services or visitation. The body was cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home.
Mr. Kuehn was born March 9, 1936, in Le Mars, Iowa, the son of Caryl and Doris (Smith) Kuehn. He graduated from Liberty High School.
He married Carol A. Barker in 1962, in Luverne, Minn. He served in the Air National Guard for a period of time. He was employed as a bartender, worked as a heavy equipment operator and farmed for many years.
He loved cooking and music. He also loved his family and friends dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Kuehn of Sioux City; two daughters and their husbands, Vickie and Larry Perera and Doris and Jim Merchant, all of Sioux City; two sisters and their husbands, Janice and Keith Curly of Arkansas, and Vickie and Jim Rutherford of Texas; five grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Merchant, C.J. Perera, James Merchant Jr., Nicholas Perera and Brandon Perera, all of Sioux City; a great-grandchild, Chase Merchant; two nephews, Gary Kuehn and Johnny Rosenberger; and very dear friends, Bob Andrie, Tom LaCroix, Virginia Gilbert and Darwin "Frenchy" Andrie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James and Gary Kuehn.
