OCCUPATION: He farmed and did construction work until his retirement in 1984.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; five sons; a daughter; three stepsons; three stepdaughters; three sisters, Bernadette Gollhofer of Keokuk, Clara Janette Kielbasa of Berwyn, Ill., and Mary Ellen and her husband, Harold Bock of Belmond; six grandchildren; 19 step grandchildren; and seven step great-grandchildren.
