PARENTS: son of Henry and Lucy (Weber) Kohler
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 1st MARRIAGE: Eileen Gilweit in 1950 in Las Vegas, Nev.
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: He graduated from LeMars Central High School and lived in Fergus Falls, Minn., where he worked in an icecream store. He moved to Los Angeles and worked for Ralph’s Grocery Chain. During World War II, he worked for Lockheed Aircraft. After they married they moved to a farm north of Remsen and farmed until retiring in 1988.
SURVIVORS: include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Jim (Mary) Brinkman of Aurelia and Susan Kohler of Ames; four sons, Henry and his wife Anne, and Keith and wife, Peggy, all of Ames, Curt and his fiancée Glenda Roepke of Merrill and Eric and his wife, Kim of Remsen; and 10 grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: three brothers, Elmer, Frank, and George; and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Doris) McQuillan.
PLACE of BURIAL: Remsen City Cemetery, Remsen, Iowa
