PLACE OF MARRIAGE: Mapleton, Iowa
OCCUPATION: The couple farmed in the Mapleton area for 20 years. In 1942 they moved to a farm south of LeMars and farmed there for many years, retiring and moving to LeMars in 1970. He died in 1979.
SURVIVORS: include two daughters and their husbands, Mary and Lyle Rosburg of Mapleton, Iowa, and Charlene and Delmar Lehner of Archer, Iowa; seven sons, Lawrence and his wife Armella of Scottsdale, Ariz., Ron and his wife Esther of Primghar, Iowa, Paul and his wife Rosie of LeMars, Gerald and his wife Marlene of Ida Grove, Iowa, Robert and his wife Audrey of LeMars, Bud and his wife Judy of Estherville, Iowa, and Joe and his special friend Joann of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 48 grandchildren; 89 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and brother, George Mack of Omaha, Neb.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: a daughter, Anna Margaret; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Kate) Schleis, Mrs. Harvey (Anna) Grass, and Mary Mack.
