OCCUPATION: They lived in the Kingsley, Ireton, and LeMars, Iowa, area until moving to a farm near Wentworth in 1951. Her husband preceded her in death in 1980. She moved to Madison, S.D., in 1980.
SURVIVORS: include a son and wife, Gerald and Phyllis of Pioneer, Calif.; a daughter, Joanne Owens of Madison; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, John and Jerry, both in 1970; three sisters; a brother; and a son-in-law, Bob Owens.
