JORVILLE C. STINTON

LE MARS, Iowa—Jorville C. Stinton, 67, of LeMars, died Saturday at his farm home after a long illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Merrill United Methodist Church. The Rev. Peter J. Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery in Sioux City. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Monday in the Mauer Funeral Home.

Mr. Stinton was born Oct. 21, 1914, in Plymouth County. He married Mata Rosenow Oct. 21, 1937, in LeMars. He was a retired farmer.

He was a member of the Methodist church, Farm Bureau and was active in the Floyd Valley Barbershop Chorus.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Don (Patricia) Starkey of Sevierville, Tenn.; one son, Dale, of Bloomington, Ill.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
