RICHARD L. ANDERSON

LE MARS, Iowa—Richard L. Anderson, 47, of LeMars, died Wednesday at his home in LeMars. He had been ill a year.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Presbyterian United Church of Christ. The Rev. James Ransom will officiate. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Sanborn Cemetery under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home of LeMars.

Mr. Anderson was born July 8, 1934, at Sheldon.

He married Mary Ann Casemier Sept. 3, 1952, at Sheldon. He lived in Sheldon, North Platte, Neb., and LeMars. He was in business in North Platte 15 years and had operated Carl’s Footwear in LeMars for the last four years.

He was a member of the Kiwanis Club in North Platte.

Survivors include the widow; one son, Mark of Orange City; two daughters, Jill of Oakland, Calif. and Susanne, at home; and his mother, Mrs. Robert (Marvel) Appelton of Sheldon.
