Peter C. Anderson, 91, of Elk, Point, S. D. died Wednesday, July 22, 1992 at Dakota Hospital in Vermillion.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Luteran Church in Elk Point with Rev. Leslie Hermes officiated. Burial will be about 1:30 in the St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Reading Twonship, rural Ireton. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, with the present 7-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Elk Point.
Mr. Anderson was born Oct 8, 1900, in St. James, Neb., the son of Nels and Ella (Hoganson) Anderson. He married Alice Mandelkow July 21, 1948, in Sioux City, Iowa He was employed as a salesman for the Long and Hanson Commision firm in Sioux City for a number of years. He later farmed in rural Jefferson, S. D., until 1988, when he retired and moved to Elk Point.

Mr. Anderson was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Elk Point.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Warren, of Tempe, Ariz; six grandchildren; a sister, Sadie Anderson of Minneapolis, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Maxine Ericson.
