PARENTS: son of Christian and Karen (Larson) Jensen

PLACE OF MARRIAGE: LeMars, Iowa
OCCUPATION: The couple farmed near Jefferson, S.D., for 37 years. They retired and moved into Elk Point, S.D., in 1983. His wife died Aug. 3, 1992, in Elk Point. He moved to Sioux City in 1998.
SURVIVORS: include a son and his wife, Jerry and Jan of Pierce, Neb.; three daughters and their husbands, Karen and Kevin Irwin and Judy and Gary Junge Sr., all of Sioux City, and Kay and Scott Semple of Lawton, Iowa; two sisters, Karen Kristensen of Denmark, and Marie and her husband, Red Donaldson, of King City, Ore.; a sister-in-law, Lois Jahn, of Alcester, S.D.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: his parents and a brother, Martin.
