CAUSE OF DEATH:
DATE of DEATH: Friday, May 21, 1999
PLACE of DEATH: at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center, LeMars, Iowa
DATE of BIRTH: June 16, 1918
PLACE of BIRTH: near Correctionville, Iowa
PARENTS: son of John and Anna (Klahn) Juelfs
SPOUSE & DATE of MARRIAGE: Frances French, Jan. 18, 1942
PLACE OF MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: They farmed near Pierson and Correctionville for many years, and later moved to Brunsville. In 1961 they moved to Merrill. He worked for Anthony Trucking and retired in 1982. He then did season work for Bill Koopman until his health began to fail. He had lived the past four years at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center, in LeMars.
SURVIVORS: include his wife; four sons, Gaylen of Merrill, DeWayne and wife Julie of Merrill, Dennis of Windsor, Colo., and Rick and his wife Jacalyn of Ft. Collins, Colo.; eight grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Darrell and Dorothy of Wallace, Idaho; three great-grandchildren; two nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: a brother, Earl; two nephews, Mark and John (Jack) Juelfs; and two sisters-in-law, Doris and Susan Juelfs.
PLACE of BURIAL: Hillside Cemetery, Merrill, Iowa
