PLACE OF MARRIAGE: in Nebraska
OCCUPATION: The lived on the family farm north of Hawarden until 1940 when they moved to a farm in Grant township, rural LeMars. In 1947 and for the next 37 years they were custodians of Christ Lutheran Church. They moved to Hawarden in 1984 due to her husband’s health. He died Dec. 5, 1987.
SURVIVORS: include two sisters-in-law, Ida Johnson of Hawarden and Evelyn Klave of Akron, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: four brothers, Rudy, Onnie, Albert and Art; and six sisters, Sophie Van Wyhe, Lena Edmunds, Annie Marshall, Martha Klave, Louise Short and Esther Watkins.
PLACE of BURIAL: Grace Hill Cemetery, Hawarden, Iowa
