PLACE of BIRTH: in Granville, Iowa
PARENTS: daughter of John and Cecelia (Plathe) Konz
SPOUSE & DATE of MARRIAGE: Joseph Holton, Jan. 13, 1936
PLACE OF MARRIAGE: at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Granville, Iowa
OCCUPATION: The couple farmed their entire lives in the LeMars area.
SURVIVORS: include her husband, Joseph; two sons and their wives, Jack and LaVon of Merrill, and Patrick and Karol of LeMars; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Wolf and Mrs. Martha Kriege, both of Remsen; a brother, Robert, of LeMars; and many nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: a son, Ronald in infancy; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Their; and six brothers, Peter, George, Bernard, Sylvester, Raymond and Albert Konz.
PLACE of BURIAL: St. Catherine’s Catholic Cemetery, Oyens, Iowa
