OCCUPATION: He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1963. The couple moved to rural Kingsley, where he farmed with his father and operated a county road grader for many years. He then began farming in Union Township. In 1994, they moved into Kingsley and he continued to farm.
SURVIVORS: include his wife; a son and his wife, Anthony and Dena of Sioux City; three grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Richard and JoAnne of Canyon City, Calif., and Mike and Marcia of Plano, Texas.
