OCCUPATION: In 1936 he joined the Civil Conservation Corporation and was stationed at Thornton, Ark. He was medically discharged and returned to Westfield, IA. …worked for many years as a farmer in the Akron area…and also a construction worker.
SURVIVORS: include his wife; a son Richard of Arvada, Colo.; two daughters, Betty Weddle and Mary Hedden, both of Waco, Texas; a brother, Henry Eichacker of Akron; a sister, Helen Plueger of LeMars; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
