Helen Leone (Lias) Hoffman, 71, of Westfield, died Friday, July 21, 2000, at a Sioux Falls, S.D. hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daryled Hoffman.

Helen Leone Hoffman

Helen Leone Hoffman, 71, of Westfield la., died Friday, July 21,2000 at a Sioux Falls hospital.

Funeral services were Monday, July 24 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Akron, with Monsignor Richard Zenk officiating. Burial was in Westfield Township Cemetery, rural Westfield.

Helen was born November 2, 1928 in Akron, the daughter of Wayne and Pauline (Michael) Lias. She attended Westfield High School. She married Daryled Hoffman December, 15, 1945 in Elk
Point. He preceded her in death in 1990.

She was employed at Casey's General Store in Akron for the past 10 years.

Survivors include one son, Marlin Hoffman, of Westfield; three daughters, Suzette Leuenhagen and her husband Jim of Aurora, Col., Rosanne Moffatt and her husband David of Aurora, Col., and Denise Farrence and her husband Clyde of Sioux Falls, SD; one sister, Fran Wirth and three brothers, Bud, Don and Norman; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
