Thelma Holthusen

ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa -- Thelma "Tuck" Holthusen, 78, of Rock Rapids died Monday, March 24, 2003, at Merrill Pioneer Community Hospital in Rock Rapids following a brief illness.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Rapids, with the Rev. Henry Thorberg officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, with the family present 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Roste Funeral Home in Rock Rapids.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon Holthusen of Rock Rapids; a daughter, Tamara Christians and her fiance, Kevin Small of Le Mars, Iowa; four grandsons; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bette Dennis of Des Moines, and Joyce Mantel of Rock Rapids; and two brothers, Ken File of Cherokee, Iowa, and Gene File of Le Mars, Iowa.
