MRS. A.J. TAYLOR
CALLED BY DEATHFollowing a lingering illness of nearly a year and a half, Mrs. A.J. Taylor, a resident of Hinton for a quarter of a century, died at her home in Hinton, Thursday morning, December 20, at the age of 59 years.
Mrs. Taylor had been ill for many months, most of that time in serious condition but was a patient sufferer and always cheerful and hopeful to the end. All that medical aid and loved ones could do to restore her to health and comfort was done but her illness was too great to overcome.
Louise Augusta Dopke was born April 2, 1869, near Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to A.J. Taylor, May 20, 1886. To this union were born six children, one dying in infancy. She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband, A.J. Taylor, four sons: Irving Taylor, of Brookings, S.D., Vernon Taylor, of Sioux City, Harold Taylor, of Hinton, Wallace Taylor of Chicago; one daughter: Mrs. Mabel Schneider, of Hinton; four sisters, two brothers, and seven grandchildren.
The deceased was a good wife, a loving and kind mother and true to her many friends who will remember her for her many acts of kindness.
The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, from their home, Rev. J.L. Shroyer, officiating and interment was in Graceland Park cemetery at Sioux City, conducted by A.B. Barnett, of Merrill.
The family have the heartfelt sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement.
