DIED.
FARLEY-On Monday evening, October 5, Mrs. James Farley, aged 27 years.Mrs. Farley had been in her usual health up to late Monday afternoon, when
she complained of a bad headache and went to bed. She grew rapidly worse and
in a few hours was dead. She leaves a husband and two children, a boy and a
girl. Mrs. Farley was the daughter of Mike Hyden, one of the old settlers of
Plymouth county, and came to the county when she was a little girl. The
funeral will be held from St. James church tomorrow at 10 o'clock.~Source: LeMars Sentinel, Oct. 8, 1896

Mrs. Jas. Farley died Monday evening from the effects of an over dose of
morphine. She had felt a headache during the evening and in attempting to
relieve it, took so much that medical aid could do nothing to relieve her.
